![]() :: BattleLore | Miniatures | Storage
As soon as I started painting the miniatures, I knew they where not going back into the original box or into ziplock bags. When I designed the box, my main goal was to get the troops in and out asap in order to reduce the set up time as much as possible. Part of this global solution was to develop a way to hold troops together within the box. First, the miniatures where grouped by race and rank: Human Archers, Goblin Cavalry, etc… Secondly, I grouped every set of troops in sets of 4 for infantry and sets of 3 for the cavalry on individual bases (more details below).
:: BattleLore | Miniatures | Deployment
1) Take out the trays you need for the scenario. 2) Deploy the troop sets on each side of the battle field (no fidling with the individual miniatures). 3) Put back the unused troops in the box. 4) Ready to go. As troops are eliminated, place them back into formation on the seals until the flag bearer is eliminated and joins the set. It's now ready for a new battle or goes back into the tray and then into the box. |
