:: BattleLore | Miniatures | Human Archers

The archers where a different chalenge in that I wanted to make each archer different, having only the uniform as a constant. Since they don’t have helmets to hide their individuality, I proceded to paint different color schemes for the hair. Obviously, the idea of having a different color for each was never an option: I settled for 4 hair color schemes for the complete set. This way, I could potentially get 4 “different” looking miniatures in one troop. This really helped to break the “batch process” look with a minimal effort.

In the shot on the right, I’ve completed installing the strings to the bows and arrows. Really ads an extra touch of realism.
